Welcome! This community is for all the Severus/Harry -SS/HP - Potter/Snape - Snarry - whatever you want to call it - shippers. All fans are welcome; readers, writers, artists, vidders, reviewers and reccers.

You can post anything related to this pairing here: fanfiction, fanart, recs, icons, discussions about Snarry, essays, questions, etc., but please make sure that both Snape and Harry are included in your post.

Membership of the community is moderated. To apply, you need to have a clear age statement on your LJ profile page. Examples of a clear age statement include ANY of the following: an actual date of birth indicating you are at least 18 years old (1/1/85), a year of birth indicating you are at least 18 years old (1985), a statement of your actual age over 18 (I am 22 years old) or a general statement such as "I am over the age of 18."

Please don’t remove the Age Statement in your Profile - if we find your age statement isn’t on your profile, we’ll have to remove you.

1. You have to be 18 years or older to join this community. Underaged members will be removed and banned.

2. Please avoid OT posts. You’re only allowed to post content that is directly related to SS/HP - if you're not sure if your post fits this description, e-mail the moderators at snapepottermods @ gmail.com (minus the spaces) before posting. Any off-topic post will be removed.

3. Use the LJ-cut tag for pictures, any fanfiction that is longer than 100 words and long posts.

4. Flaming is not allowed.

5. Please use the following form when posting fic or art:

If you're posting separate chapters of a Work in Progress, please include links to previous chapters.

6. Please friends-lock all NC-17 rated ART posts you make, so that only members of the community can see the contents. We are also asking for any stories where Harry is school-aged to be locked as well, even if the content isn't necessarily NC-17. This also goes for posts that link to content where Harry is school-aged and to each individual chapter of a Work in Progress, even if that chapter contain no school-aged content.
Note: if you do not react to (repeated) warnings from a moderator, your post will be deleted.

7. Fic searches are okay, but please try our memories first, then these communities: snarryficfind, which was created to keep our favourite Snarry communities from being flooded with fic search requests, hpstoryfinders which deals with the finding of lost Harry Potter stories, authors' websites, etc and snarry_reader, which is a comprehensive Snape/Harry recs journal including stories, art and meta.

Rules for fic searches that may result in NC-17 rated stories:

o If you know the story you're looking for has a NC-17 rating, please put the fic search under an lj-cut (clearly labelled with a warning).
o If the only clue to a fic is a fairly graphic scene (containing for example a graphic description of non-consensual sex, BDSM or other kinks) which might be disturbing to some people, we kindly ask you to use an lj-cut here as well.
